Heritage Makers is currently in the process of turning all project credits into the new HM publishing point system. As of August 16, 2010 the credits in your account will be given their equivalent point value.
This is so exciting! Here’s why:
- Credits are being converted to the retail price of the item you purchased.
- You can now use your points on any product, so you aren’t tied into the product you originally purchased.
- You can easily create birthday gifts, holiday presents, or home décor without worrying about purchasing a specific item,
Another great thing about the points system is that now all newly purchased points will expire after two years instead of one year, and all previously purchased credits that have been converted to points will expire two years from the date the credit was purchased, so you have more time to work on your projects! Logging into the HM site after the conversion happens will allow you to see the new expiration date for your points.
Here’s an example.
Credit Type Quantity/Retail Price/Point Value
5x5 storybook(1)/$34.95/34.95
7.5x10 storybook(3)/$59.96/179.85
The points system is going to make creating your favorite Heritage Makers projects much easier. You should notice the change in your account by August 16th.
Please let me know if you have any questions or are interested in purchasing points!
